The objective of the study is to technically and economically specify and assess applications and services relying on HAPS (High Altitude Pseudo Satellites, also called High Altitude Platform Stations) complemented by communication, navigation and/or remote sensing satellites. It shall focus on specific services with clear business cases, sustainability potential, and a clear added value of one space asset as a minimum. The Business Case shall be built and a roadmap for the follow-up of the study shall eventually be proposed, in preparation of the operational services. During the activity, relevant user, customer and stakeholder groups shall be consulted.
