The Laboratory Equipment Pool is responsible for the calibration of instruments belonging to the Test Centre and to the ESTEC laboratories. Some calibrations are performed internally by the LEP staff and some are performed externally. This contract will cover theexternal calibration/verification service. The contractor will come regularly to ESTEC to pick-up the laboratory equipments, calibrate them and then return them to ESTEC with the necessary documentation. The service will also include the possibility to include repair and NEN3140 inspection. The contract will be a frame contract defining the modus operandi and all contractual aspect. A simple call-off-order will be placed for each calibration request.
