To procure an internal dosimetry payload, to monitor the radiation dose inside the Gateway for scientific and medical operations applications. The Internal Dosimetry Array (IDA) is an ESA-led payload for accommodation inside the Gateway. It is planned for accommodation at launch in the US HALO module to be launched in 2024. IDA is a single payload unit, which integrates a number of different dosimetry sensors. This sensor package includes active dosimeters, to be provided by ESA (e.g. European Active Dosimeter (EAD), MediPix, Tritel), and passive dosimeters, provided as a contribution in-kind by JAXA (e.g. PADLES and D-Space).
