The purpose of this activity is to assess through computer simulations and laboratory activities the suitability and performance atlow level of the DVB-S2x/RCS(2) and LTE (release 14+) standards to provide HAPS-based communication services. The activity will define scenarios and associated technical solutions based on DVB-S2x/RCS(2) and/or LTE. Multi-beam payloads will be targeted whenever possible. The activity will identify gaps and it will trade off, down select and baseline possible solutions.
