Kick-start activities aim at exploring the viability of new service/application concepts and at consolidating the customer and userlandscape including derivation of user requirements. Kick-start activities resulting from this thematic call are funded at between75and 8o% by the Agency for a maximum amount of 64,000 Euro per activity. When mentioning the Price of the activity in their coverletter and tender, Tenderers shall refer to the amount funded by the Agency (e.g. a maximum of 64 000 Euro). The total cost of the activity, which shall also be explicitly stated in the cover letter and in the tender, is the complete (total) activity cost of the ESA funding (Firm Fixed Price to ESA) plus the companys contribution. For instance, if the ESA price of your activity is 64,000 Euro, the cost of the activity shall be at least 80,000 Euro. Both, price and cost, need to be stated in the Tenderers cover letter and detailed proposal. Omission to include the correct price and cost may result in inadmissibility of tenders at the tender opening. The Commodities Thematic Call for Proposals will be processed following a competitive tendering procedure, which is tailored to low-to medium-value procurement actions.
