This EXPRO+ procurement is part of the NAVISP Programme, under Elelment 1, Work Plan 2018.The objective of the proposed activity is to further develop and prove the practical feasibility of an innovative Integrity Risk monitoring and prediction concept for autonomous vehicles, to be used in the emerging field of Automatic Passenger Vehicles (APVs), and therefore, being able to achieve a level of Integrity Risk suitable for this domain (characterised by a very dynamic environment). This concept will be based on the Feature Extraction (FE) and Data Association (DA) techniques, considering the integration of multi-sensors and space and/or ground-based PNT, exploiting possibly also GNSS data. It will be based on a derivation of the concept of Integrity used in aviation. The activityincludes the development of a demonstrator. The activity will assess the key elements to enable a faster mass adoption of Autonomous Cars, increase safety in this field, and assess the usefulness of Space-based PNT (including GNSS), in this domain.
