ESTEC (European Space Research and Technology Centre) is the largest establishment of ESA (European Space Agency). It employs around 1500 staff and 1200 contractors from industries working in support to ESA in space projects. They come mostly from Europe and Canada with a minority from a different origin. ESTEC decided to improve the support given to its employees by providing Day-care and After-School Services. For this purpose a childcare facility opened its doors in January 2008. The facility is able to host up to a total of 70 children in the age 0-4 in the day-care and 10 children in the ages 4-12 in the after-school. The Contractor shall provide childcare services autonomously which includes English spoken group(s) and warm meals.
