ESA Open Invitation to Tender: 1-10177
Open Date: 13/05/2021 19:11 CEST
Closing Date: 24/06/2021 13:00 CEST

The purpose of the procurement is the provision of the Copernicus Space Component (CSC) Operations Coordination Desk Service. The Operations Coordination Desk Service shall include the following operational functions: the Operations Monitoring and Coordination Service , the CSC Auxiliary Data Gathering and the Sentinel Information Web Pages. The CSC Services Operations Monitoring covers the overall CSC operations status and performance monitoring and reporting. The CSC Operations Performance Monitoring Dashboard functionprovides the overall CSC operations performance view. The CSC Services Operations Coordination performs the centralised coordination of the services anomalies and maintenance activities. Smooth CSC operations rely on a rigorous coordination of the anomalies experienced by the different services and of the potential individual service maintenance activities in order to prevent impact on other services and on the overall CSC operations performance. The CSC operations aim at making available CSC user level data resulting from the processing of data acquired by the Sentinel satellites. The generation of user level data, in particular for Level-2 user data, requires complementary information from external sources (e.g. meteorological forecasts). The Auxiliary Data Gathering , is a centralised service, in charge of collecting this information (auxiliary data) and making it available to all CSC services involved inthe generation of user level data, ensuring the consistency of auxiliary data used in the CSC data processing. The Sentinel Onlinetechnical web site https://sentinels.copernicus.eu/web/sentinel/home provides all the information about the Sentinel program, the individual Sentinel Missions, their operational focus and the Copernicus Thematic areas they support. In addition, the Agency has deployed a new platform intended to facilitate information sharing about Sentinels related users and usages in a changing EO landscape. The platform, called the Sentinels Users Bulletin Board (SUBB) (https://sentinels.copernicus.eu/subb/about-subb), is available for users to provide short advertisements and links to their own on-line resources (e.g. projects, publications, web services, blogs, apps…). This procurement is fully funded by the EU Copernicus Programme and will be open exclusively to economic operators which ha their registered office in an EU Member State or a State participating in the EU Copernicus Programme. The ITT is planned to be published as from mid-April 2021.
