The scope of this procurement is the provision of the Copernicus Space Component (CSC) Data Access Service ensuring primarily the free and open access to Sentinel User Level Data.The CSC Data Access Service will include the following key services: Data Distribution Service for Sentinel User Level Data and Copernicus Contributing Missions Data; On-demand Production Service for Sentinel User Level Data; Streamlined Access Service allowing immediate local direct access to specific Sentinel User Level Data collections; Traceability Service allowing the registration and verification of data sources.The CSC Data Access Service operations shall be conducted in a broader public cloud ecosystem, the Copernicus Data Space, enabling development and operations of third-party services through the access to interoperable ecosystem services, including but not limited to unified User Management, IaaS and PaaS services, as well as access to integrated applications facilitating user onboarding for local data exploitation.The CSC Data Access Service is funded under the Copernicus Programme (EU-funded programme) and will be open exclusively to economic operators that have their registered office in an EU Member State or a Country participating in the EU Copernicus Programme. The Invitation to Tender (ITT) package (Cover Letter, Statement of Work, Special Conditions of Tender, Draft Contract) will be available on esa-star, the ESA tendering website. The issue of the Invitation to Tender is foreseen in December 2021.ESA intends to place one (1) contract as a result of this procurement for a duration of 6 years.The CSC Data Access Service is funded by the Copernicus Programme and will be open exclusively to economic operators that have their registered office in an EU Member State or a State participating in the Copernicus Programme.The Invitation to Tender (ITT) will be published on ESA Star Publication. In order to access the ITT Package from esa-star, Tenderers must be registered as potential ESA suppliers. Any Tenderer which is not yet registered with ESA as a potential supplier must complete the online questionnaire in esa-star.  Further information on the registration process can be found on the Doing Business with ESA portal. Pleasenote that esa-star allows two levels of entity registration: „Light” and „Valid Full”. This allows new users wishing to do businesswith ESA to carry out their registration in two steps. While „Light” registration will grant access to all esa-star services up to and including proposal submission, the award of ESA contracts requires „Valid Full” status.
