The 5G Work Plan covers activities proposed by the Executive in line with the Strategic Plan for the ARTES 4.0 Strategic Programme Line Space for 5G (ESA/JCB(2019)51, rev.3), which was approved by the JCB at its meeting in November 2019. The 5G Work Plan is part of the following sequence of documents:- 5G SPL Strategic Plan, which describes the 5G SPL Strategy (ESA/JCB(2019)51, rev.3).- 5G Master Plan, which describes the plan for the implementation of the 5G strategy.It provides supplementary information on theexecution of the Strategic Programme Line, but that is not strictly necessary. The full Master Plan is provided on the JCB repository (Draft 5G Master Plan). – 5G Work Plan, which explains the content of the „Essential” part of the 5G Master Plan. It covers ESA-initiated activities.The 5G Work Plan covers the high-level set of activities required to maximise the integration of satellite in 5G andsupport its commercial success. This first version of the Work Plan covers most of the 5G activities for 2020-2021, whichare considered essential to initiate in a timely way after Space19+. Few additional activities are foreseen and might be proposed in a later edition of the Work Plan.
