Seosat was developed by the Agency between 2008 and 2020 in the frame of an ESA-CDTI support Assistance Agreement as part of the Spanish National Program for Earth Observation (PNOT). While the Agency was entrusted with the technical and contractual management, CDTI retained the programmatic authority.The objective of this Phase 0 study is to define the system concept for the SEOSYS system taking into account the evolution of the European and international land imaging service providers, in particular that of the land imaging services provided by the Copernicus program. The primary objective of a SEOSYS system is to provide very high resolution, highquality PAN images with short accessibility time, needed for applications like urbanism, cartography, land-cover changes, management of emergency situations, security, etc.
