Objective(s) of the Activity:To mature Non-Contact methods of Non-Destructive Inspection into a validated tool that can detect defects/damage in fibre reinforced composite structural parts, in an assembly and without dismantling. To establish clear operational capabilities for the selected technology, including minimum detectable size of different types of damage or defect in various polymercomposite materials and geometries.
