Since 2011, ESA has been focusing more and more on End-to-End (E2E) Integration and Testing (IT) of the Mission Operations Infrastructure (MOI) products. Therefore, ESOC established the End-to-End Ground Segment Reference Facility (E2E GSRF) as the one-stop environment where the system level IT of the MOI takes place. One of the major IT activities performed in the E2E GSRF relates to theautomation of the MOI systems testing. In this domain, ESOC already developed a number of tools, but they lack integration and an overall monitoring and controlling position is missing. In order to gain in efficiency and reliability in the domain of automated IT, the E2E GSRF shall enhance the automation, monitoring, control and ergonometry of the facility as part of the provision of a central commander position. The provision of an End-to-End Ground Segment Reference Facility Monitoring System (EGMS) shall support thefollowing main activities:-validation of individual products in an end-to-end scenario-end-to-end validation of Ground Segment Test Assemblies -execution and reporting of testsIn this context, Ground Segment Test Assembly refers to a collection of Ground Segment products required to operate the spacecraft up to the ground station back-end and can include simulated elements.
