The objective of this ITT is to investigate, test and demonstrate the contribution of satellite EO and new ICT in industry sectors where EO based services are already being used. It is planned to run at least two activities, one in the sector of Oil Gas and theother one in the sector of Disaster Risk Financing Transfer. The activity shall take advantage of advances in ICT, in particular concerning hosted processing of different EO missions data, both open and free data (e.g. with EUs Copernicus programme) and national EO missions data (e.g. VHR Optical SAR) with the objective to make the case for increasing the use of satellite EO with industry users. Potential benefits might arise from the ability to tackle massive volume processing, to establish more cost effective approaches for service delivery over extended areas, etc. The activity will allow users to interactively identify and conduct demonstrations of various EO based products for regions of their interest.
