The forty-first session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of the Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space will be held from 16 to 27 February 2004 at the United Nation Office at Vienna, Vienna International Center, Vienna, Austria.
The president of Romania, Mr. Ion Iliescu, received Mr. Marius-Ioan Piso, the Chief Executive Officer of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), at the Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest.
During 9th and 15th of July, Romanian Scholars Mingireanu Florin, Balan Liviu Mugurel, Trusculescu Marius and Istvan Lorand (coordinated by prof. dr. conf. Mircea Rusu) Bucuresti University - Physics Faculty participated at the VI-th Parabolic Flight Campaign for Scholars at Bordeaux, France, under the aegis of European Space Agency. Their expreriment was "Electrolysis Study in microgravity conditions". More about this experiment can be found here.
