on 25 May 2021

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites coders, entrepreneurs, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, artists, and technologists to participate in a virtual hackathon on 23-29 June 2021, dedicated to putting open data to work in developing solutions to issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event is jointly organised by NASA, ESA (European Space Agency) and JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency).

Using data from Earth Observation Dashboard Hackathon, participants from around the world will create virtual teams that during the seven-day hackathon will solve challenges related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The challenge topics are:

  • air and water quality
