Romanian Space Agency has organized the first workshop dedicated to the third millennium - the space millennium. The event took place on Wednesday, January 12, 2000, at the Scientists' House in Bucharest. The lecturers were Dr. Marius-Ioan PISO (Romanian Space Agency), Dr. Radu POPA (Speologic Institute and Jet Propulsion Laboratory) and Dr. Ladislau VEKAS (Institute on Complex Fluids).
Scientist and decision makers in science and technology were invited.
