The President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso, gave opening remarks at the 6th Planetary Defense Conference, organised by the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA) in the Washington, DC area, between 29 April and 3 May 2019.
The eight edition of the Copernicus conference will take place on 4 and 5 June 2019, at the Central University Library of Bucharest. This year’s edition is focused on "Space for a Safe Society and Sustainable Growth".
On 4 April 2019, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) organised the Industry Workshop on ESA 4S Announcement of Opportunity (Secure Satcom for Safety and Security), at the Conference centre of the National Institute for Aerospace Research "Elie Carafoli" (INCAS).
On 26 March 2019, the President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso introduced the election of the new honorary members of the International Academy of Astronautics (IAA).
From 6 to 10 May 2019, the United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) and the Government of Romania, through the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), are jointly organising the International Conference on Space Solutions for Sustainable Agriculture and Precision Farmingin Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
