The Romanian pioneer of the International Astronomical Union (IAU), Nicolae Donici, will be honoured in Paris, during a conference organized by the Embassy of Romania in France and the UAI.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites industry representatives to register for ESA’s NAVISP Industry Days, taking place 22-23 January 2020 at ESA’s ESTEC establishment in Noordwijk, the Netherlands.

On 3 October 2019, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) organised the event "ESA-Romania PRODEX Bilateral and Science Industry Day", dedicated to discussing the status of the PRODEX scientific support programme and meeting with the business environment. The event was hosted by the Institute of Space Science (ISS).

The Politehnica University of Bucharest has awarded the Doctor Honoris Causa distinction to the President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso. The ceremony took place on Friday, 13 September 2019. The honorary academic title was awarded to Mr. Piso at the initiative of the Faculty of Aerospace Engineering.

On Monday, 2 September 2019, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) and the European Space Agency (ESA) organised an info day regarding the ESA proposal for the second phase of the optional programme for satellite navigation – Navigation Innovation and Support Programme (NAVISP). The event was open to Romanian organisations such as universities, research institutions, industry and SMEs activating in relevant areas.
