Intensive course for primary teachers

on 18 February 2020

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) invites you to apply to an intensive introductory course in integrated teaching using cosmic space as an educational context, organised by The European Space Education Resource Office (ESERO) Romania, a project of the European Space Agency (ESA) in collaboration with ROSA. The course is intended for primary teachers and it takes place in Piatra Neamț, from 28 February to 1 March 2020. The deadline to apply is 20 February 2020.

The course is free of charge and it takes 16 hours to complete.

The course aims to provide participants with the knowledge necessary to nudge students from primary education towards STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering and mathematics) through the fascination of the cosmic space. The course will include topics related to the exploration of outer space such as: space missions, landing on a comet, robotics, best practices in the classroom, life in space, or how to become an astronaut.

Accommodation, meals and transport will be the responsibility of the participants.

Selected participants will receive more details about the venue and the schedule by email.

The application form is available here and will be open until 20 February 2020.

More information is available on the ESERO webpage.
