Last Update Date: 20/02/2017
Update Reason: Tender issue
The first issue of the Packet Utilization Standard (PUS, ECSS-E-70-41A) published in 2003 has been successfully used in many ESA missions. It has been going through a technical review and subsequent update in recent years. This effort resulted in the publication of the second issue in April 2016. The key goal of the activity is to provide an implementation of the updated standard as specifiedin ECSS-E-ST-70-41C. The minimum set of implemented services should allow the newly developed PUS library to meet requirements of the EagleEye reference mission, however a more precise list of services will be identified in the Statement of Work. The PUS library will be integrated into the ATB SVF EagleEye Flight Software and verification will be performed to demonstrate that the upgraded EagleEye Central Software with the new PUS library meet the EagleEye mission and performance requirements. The PUS Library will be designed, implemented and validated in compliance with ECSS-E-ST-40C.Procurement Policy: C(3) = Activity restricted to SMEs RD Entities. For additional information please go to EMITS news "Industrial Policy measures for non-primes, SMEs and RD entities in ESA programmes".
