The Honorary President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), Mr. Dumitru-Dorin Prunariu, is member of the International Academy of Astronautics' (IAA) Scientific Committee for its 20th 'Humans in Space' Symposium, one of the most highly acclaimed meetings in the field of human spaceflight and related research.

The event will take place from 29 June to 3 July in Prague, Czech Republic, organised by the Czech Space Office under the scientific governance of the IAA’s Space Life Sciences Commission.

Having a long tradition of almost 40 years, this biannually conference will again create a forum for discussion about fundamental issues and trends as well as for developing collaborations through the exchange of research results and ideas.

During a week, the symposium will offer a unique opportunity for scientists, researchers, graduate students and instrument developers from all over the world to present and assess the latest developments as well as future outlook in exploring effects of spaceflight environment on the human body and how life supporting measures may vary depending on the mission profile.

The symposium program includes plenary lectures and sessions on a variety of topics, and various social events.
