Call for Presentations: Moon Village Workshop & Symposium

on 14 September 2020

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) announces that you can submit a presentation or a poster related to the current and proposed lunar return plans, for the 1st Online Global Moon Village Workshop & Symposium, organised by the Moon Village Association (MVA), a partner of ROSA. The deadline for the submission of outline/draft of the presentations is Monday September 21, 2020.

Due to the Online nature of the Workshop & Symposium, MVA will not be seeking full manuscripts for this 2020 workshop. At this time MVA would request each of you to propose specific topics and presentations and also reach out to potential speakers and attendees from the global community at large.

The basic criterion for the presentation to be accepted for the repository is to address Science, Technology, Programmatic and Policies related to the manned and unmanned exploration of the Moon.

See the criteria for the papers here.

In 2020, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Moon Village Association (MVA), a non-governmental organisation based in Vienna. Having a common purpose of promoting space activities and science public outreach and education, the parties aim to strengthen the space sector's workforce through career development, education and industry outreach, and gender equity.

The Moon Village Association comprises approximately 220 members from more than 39 countries and 25 Institutional members around the globe, representing a diverse array of technical, scientific, cultural and interdisciplinary fields. Its goal is the creation of a permanent global informal forum for stakeholders like governments, industry, academia and the public. It aims to foster collaboration for the development of Moon explorations projects, either public or private initiatives.
