The European Space Agency (ESA) has open registrations for "The Innovation Exchange – Fuel the Future" contest, which aims to facilitate the development of a competitive European ecosystem of entrepreneurs and start-up companies that develop solutions to some of society's current and future challenges.
A first round of sessions with experts with different backgrounds is going to take place on 8 June 2017 at ESA’ ESTEC centre with the goal to gather ideas on resources management on the Moon and near-Earth asteroids. The meeting will particularly look at in-situ resource utilisation.
The sessions represent the first step in determining the themes for the ESA Grand Challenge Initiative.
