UNISPACE+50 is the first United Nations Global Space Summit of the 21st Century and it takes place on 18-21 June, at the Vienna International Centre, in Austria. The event celebrates the 50th anniversary of the first United Nations Conference on the Exploration and Peaceful Uses of Outer Space and aims to shape UN’s comprehensive ‘Space 2030’ agenda. Romania is represented by the President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), Dr. Phys. Marius-Ioan Piso, and the Romanian delegation he is leading.

The Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) together with the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Commission (EC), the Romanian Parliament — Chamber of Deputies, Subcommittee for Space and Eurisy are organising the annual conference on European Space Programmes. Between 16 and 17 May 2018, the 6th International Workshop on Numerical Modelling in Aerospace Sciences, “NMAS 2018”, will take place in Bucharest. The event is organised by the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA), the National Institute for Aerospace Research “Elie Carafoli” (INCAS) and the Politehnica University of Bucharest.
