ROSA and the Permanent Mission of Romania to the International Organisations in Vienna organised the event „Space as Enabler”

On 13 February 2019, the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) and the Permanent Mission of Romania to the International Organisations in Vienna organised the event „Space as Enabler” in the framework of the 56th session of the Scientific and Technical Subcommittee of UN COPUOS. The event was organised on the occasion of the Romanian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

The event started with opening remarks from Amb. Cristian Istrate, Head of the Permanent Mission of Romania to the International Organisations in Vienna, Mr. Marius-Ioan Piso, Head of the Romanian Delegation to UN-COPUOS, Amb. Didier Lenoir, Head of Delegation of the European Union to the International Organisations in Vienna, the Head of the Delegation of the European Space Agency (ESA), Ms. Simonetta di Pippo, Director of the Office for Outer Space Affairs and Mr. Dumitru Dorin Prunariu, co-Vicechair of the Agenda Space 2030 Working Group.

Mr. Marius-Ioan Piso, President and CEO of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) presented the Romanian Space Strategy and Priorities on Space during the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
