ROSA CNSA Memorandum of Understanding

Mr. Marius-Ioan Piso, President of the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA) and Mister Tang Dengjie, Viceminister for Industry and Information Technology and Administrator of the Chine National Space Administration (CNSA) have signed an agreement of cooperation between ROSA and CNSA on the exploration and peaceful use of outer space.

The ceremony took place on 3 July at Haikou, on the occasion of launching the heavy rocket LM-5 from the new launching pad on the Hainan island. China was represented at the signing by Mr. Tian Yulong, CNSA General Secretary.

The agreement foresees cooperation in the following areas: space science and astrophysics, applications based on Earth Observation satellite data, climate change and environment, space technology, research instruments, infrastructure, launching services and more.
