During a decade, ROSA, based on their own research and consulting efforts, has become a scientific and technology organization that coordinates, promotes and represents national research activities and space, aerospace and security applications.
ROSA represents Romania within the European Commission - Space, Security, Aerospace, Galileo and GMES Programme Committees .
ROSA represents Romania at NATO - the Scientific Committee.
The Romanian Space Agency is the Government within the Agreement between Romania and the European Space Agency (ESA) on Romania's accession to the Convention for establishing the European Space Agency and the afferent terms and conditions, signed in Bucharest on 20 January 2011, within Romania's accession to the Convention establishing the ESA signed in Paris on May 30, 1975, within Romania's accession to the Agreement between the Parties to the Convention establishing the European Space Agency and the European Space Agency on the protection and exchange of classified information, opened for signature in Paris on August 19, 2002 . ROSA represents the Government at the UN - Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space.
It also doordinates ministerial committees for security research (GD 1574/2004) and INSPIRE.
