The course is addressed to primary school teachers and will take place at the “Popasul Iancului” guest house, Marisel, Cluj County. The deadline for registration is 26 July 2019.

The course aims to equip participants with the necessary skills to use cosmic space as an attractive context for teaching STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics), through the fascination of space. Space exploration topics will be addressed such as space missions, landing on a comet, life in space or how you can become an astronaut.

The course is addressed to primary school teachers and schoolmasters in Romania (grades I to IV), as well as to teachers at children clubs or afterschools with activity for the age groups corresponding to the 1st to 4th grades.

Candidates must demonstrate competence and interest in disseminating the knowledge and experience gained during the course to their pupils as well as to other teachers in their home town, to attract as many pupils as possible to astronomy, space science and technology and STEM.
