The ESA Kids website has a new format

on 19 December 2018

The Education Office of the European Space Agency (ESA) has launched a new, improved version of the website ESA Kids. The website has information about ESA’s main activities, presented in an accessible manner for young audiences.

On the website, children can learn about concepts in astronomy and space, they can read space news written in a friendly language or they can discover hands-on activities. The page also has a multimedia section, where resources such as videos and animations can be downloaded.

The website has a corner for teachers as well, which helps them discover resources for teaching in class, workshops or school projects.

ESA’s educational activity is enabled in Romania via ESERO Romania, a project of the European Space Agency (ESA), in collaboration with the Romanian Space Agency (ROSA). ESERO uses space as a gateway to STEM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), developing young people’s interest in a career in these fields.
